2nd/3rd Grade Video/TV Guide

Turning On/Off:

  • Use the Vizio remote to turn on the TV (you may have to walk closer for it to reach).
  • It should already be set to HDMI 1.
  • The HDMI switcher located underneath the table can be used to switch between the Apple TV and the DVD player.
 

Using The Apple TV:

  • Make sure the HDMI switcher is set to input 1.
  • Pressing any button on the Apple TV remote should wake it up.
    • Note: This remote is rechargeable via lightning cable.
  • Navigate to Playlister, and upon opening, lessons should be downloaded/updated.
  • Sometimes apps need to be reloaded to work properly. To do so, double click the TV shaped button on the remote and swipe the applications that you would like to reload upwards. Then reopen them.

  • The Wi-Fi network may disconnect sometimes and needs reconnecting. To do so, navigate to Network Settings in the Settings app. Click on “Wi-Fi” and wait for the network name “NCC” to appear, then select it. 
    • IMPORTANT: It can take up to a minute for this network to appear, so be patient and wait until you see it.
 

Using The DVD Player:

  • Make sure the HDMI switcher is set to input 2.
  • The DVD player is located directly underneath the HDMI switcher.
  • Press the power button on right of the DVD player to turn it on.
  • Press the eject button next to the power button to open the disk tray and insert your DVD.
  • Once a disk is loaded, you may use the Samsung remote control to play your DVD and navigate menus.
