Introduction:
This is the slides computer setup. We use a software called ProPresenter to display all our graphics and worship lyrics.
Clicking any slide in the middle of the screen will display it on the projector. You can scroll up and down through different presentations for Preshow, Announcements, and Worship.
The headers on the left side of the screen can be used to quickly navigate to presentations in our River playlist instead of scrolling through the middle of the screen.
How to Display Preshow Slides:
To display the rolling preshow slides, first click on the first slide in the “The River - Preshow Triple Wide” presentation.
How to Start the Walk-In Song:
To start the walk in song at the beginning of the night, click on the first slide in the “The River - Announcements” presentation.
- You will need to coordinate with whoever is running sound, so that they can bring up the audio level of the slides computer in order to hear it.
How to Run Announcement Slides:
To display any graphics for announcements, simply click on them in the “The River - Announcements” presentation.
How to Run Worship Lyrics:
- To run lyrics for worship, simply scroll down to the first song, or click on “WORSHIP” using the header on the left.
- Click on the first blank slide in the song, and you can now use the arrow keys or spacebar to advance to the next slide.
- A good rule-of-thumb for when to go to the next slide is to advance when the singer says the second-to-last syllable in the current lyric that is displayed!
How to Adjust the Display Size on the Computer:
If you would like to increase or decrease the display size for how the slides appear in the middle of the screen, you can do so by dragging this slider in the bottom right of the screen.
How to Add Worship Songs to the Playlist
- If you need to add worship songs to the playlist on ProPresenter, simply click the “Search” button in the top left corner of the screen (or use the keyboard shortcut: CMD + F) to display the library search pop-up.
- Then type the song that you are looking for in the search bar.
- Tip: You can also search for lyrics in the song and it will show the name of the song!
- Using the mouse, drag the correct song from the library search pop-up to where you would like it to be in the Playlist.
